I would have to think that, even with the 25-year limit lifted on the R32, that more people would be clamouring for these older Skylines, since they’re likely lower in price and less in demand. I wonder if it’s easy to find an R30 or an R31 to import compared to an R32.

All those above are for sale for $13-22k on goo-net.

$13K is a bargain compared to what Doug paid for his R32. Now I’d just wonder about how many are still out there.

There are many around. But make no mistake, these cars aren’t even in the same league as an R32 GTR. You are much better off buying a GTS-T or T Type M for 13K. The R31 also rides like shit, and is a pretty boring car overall. I owned 1 for six months in Japan, before I sold it for a glass top CRX.

A decent number, I hope to get a job and get enough money saved to import one reasonably soon. 80's cars are hitting bottom in value and the R33s coming soon will draw more interest to the older cars.

I saw one in person at Caffine and Exotics in Las Vegas. They are nice looking cars.
Given that I have issues finding parts for some things on a R32 I can’t imagine what owning a R30 would be like.

R30s of this spec are not cheap, they are about R32 GTR money.

Ya $13k is a bargain comapred to Doug’s GTR. However this car is more comparable to the R32 GTS-T. Also $13k is probably not a bargain for this, it’s probably a rusted out shitbox lol.
